The Allen-Bradley 1769-ARM is an address reserve module designed for use in CompactLogix and MicroLogix 1500 I/O systems. This module reserves an I/O slot in the local expansion bus for future module additionsâallowing you to plan ahead and preserve addressing without the need to reconfigure or rewire your system later.
The 1769-ARM is passive (no electrical function), but it plays a vital role in modular system flexibility, especially in phased installations or system expansions.
