Overview

The Allen-Bradley 1738-FPD is an ArmorPoint Field Potential Distributor (FPD) module designed to allow segmentation of the field power distribution in an ArmorPoint I/O system. This module enables the change of field power sources to I/O modules located to its right, facilitating logical or functional partitioning in applications with mixed I/O requirements. The 1738-FPD passes through all backplane signals except the internal power bus, allowing for versatile voltage input configurations, including both DC and AC applications.
